I've got uses for them all
Trash treasures mountains tall
Waiting on that craft project
That's too special to reject
That nothing replaces
So why create spaces?
Always adding something new
Just one, okay
Maybe a few
It's all so perfect
Until I stop to reflect
On my current creation
Feng Shui abomination
But I'm sure I'll use
It all and more
And then, maybe
I'll find the floor
I have hoarding tendencies. I keep them in check but to some extent I understand that impulse that drives people to collect things that they could not possible use in several lifetimes.

I'm totally the opposite. If I haven't used it in 6 months, out the door it goes.
That's not a bad habit to have. I just keep looking at things and telling myself they have a purpose. On the bright side, if I feel my space getting too cluttered, I flip a switch in my mind and get really practical about throwing things out. It just takes a while.
