Practicing the chibi style that I want to polish, I have drawn this little witch, which I gave some finishing touches by adding a layer to make it a little glamorous at the end I made a rainbow style gif, I had many months without doing these effects in my drawings, I liked them very much, it made them look funny.

I wanted to draw something dark, scary, but I don't get it, hahaha! I always end up with something tender. I seem to have forgotten that dark stage where I used to draw dark things, now if I try to draw a skull, it ends up being cute. I can't and it's funny.

The face is too round to be chibi, it's true, it looks more like a cartoon or anime, because it's not overweight either, I had to correct certain points because it was looking weird and disproportionate.

I hope you like my design, it took me two days to make it, due to my health conditions, I'm taking very calmly everything I do while my body recovers.

Hola queridos, espero encontrarlos a todos muy bien.

Practicando el estilo chibi que quiero pulir, he dibujado a esta brujita, a la que le dí unos toques finales agregándo una capa para hacerla algo glamorosa al final le hice un gif estilo arcoiris, tenía muchos meses sin hacer estos efectos en mis dibujos, me gustaban mucho, los hacía ver divertidos.

Quería dibujar algo oscuro, miedoso, pero no se me da, ¡jajaja! termino siempre con algo tierno. Parece que olvidé aquella etapa oscura donde dibujaba cosas dark, ahora si intento dibujar una calavera, termina siendo cute. No puedo y es gracioso.

La cara es muy redonda como para ser chibi, es cierto, parece más caricatura o anime, porque tampoco tiene sobrepeso, tuve que corregir ciertos puntos pues se estaba viendo raro y desproporcionado.

Espero te guste mi diseño, tarde dos días en realizarlo, debido a mis condiciones de salud, me estoy tomando con mucha calma todo lo que hago mientras mi cuerpo se recupera.

Paso a paso. / Step by Step

Boceto / Sketch

Al principio la visualicé con tonos muy oscuros, negros y grises, pero cuando aplicaba el color, se perdía con el fondo, me fue imposible.

At first I visualized it with very dark tones, blacks and greys, but when I applied the color, it got lost with the background, it was impossible for me.

Line art

En este paso, realizo el lineado definitivo del diseño. Estas líneas siempre las trazo con un color algo escarlata, muy oscuro. Tal vez no sea el color más idóneo, pero trabajo de esa forma.

In this step, I make the definitive line of the design. I always draw these lines with a slightly scarlet color, very dark. Maybe it is not the most suitable color, but I work that way.

Color Base. / Base Color.

Apliqué el color de fondo, ya que lo quería oscuro, por esta razón me di cuenta que no podía usar en mi diseño colores tan oscuros porque se perdía con el fondo. por lo cual, decidí cambiar los colores y aclarar esas capas.

I applied the background color, since I wanted it dark, for this reason I realized that I could not use in my design such dark colors because it was lost with the background. Therefore, I decided to change the colors and lighten those layers.

Trabajando en el cabello / Working on the hair

Aunque no aplico técnicas precisas, solo me dejo llevar por las líneas, trato de imaginar de donde proviene la luz y aplico claro oscuro. En esta parte trabaje un poco en el fondo, pero no me estaba convenciendo del todo.

Although I don't apply precise techniques, I just let myself go by the lines, try to imagine where the light comes from and apply light and dark. In this part I worked a little bit in the background, but I wasn't completely convinced.

Sombras y luces / Shadows and lights

Las luces que le agrego con el pincel Lápiz del programa, me gustan mucho, ya que al aclararlas un poco, le da un aspecto de caramelo al dibujo. Cada artista trabaja de forma diferente, muchos critican esto, digamos los grandes dibujantes, pero yo entiendo que es mejor que cada quien tenga su propio estilo, no termine siendo una copia de los demás, además sería algo aburrido.

The lights that I add with the program's Pencil brush, I like them a lot, because when I clarify them a little, it gives a candy look to the drawing. Each artist works in a different way, many criticize this, let's say the great drawers, but I understand that it is better that each one has their own style, don't end up being a copy of the others, besides it would be something boring.

Ojos y sombreado de piel / Eyes and Skin Shading

Casi siempre trabajo en capas separadas, si mi intención es jugar con la opacidad de alguna de ellas, como en estos casos cuando aplicamos sombras y realizamos los ojos, los mismos no sabía qué color utilizar que combinada con todo y se viera una armonía, terminé por decidirme en usar como base el color marrón. También cambié el fondo ya que no me gustaba lo básico que se veía.

I almost always work in separate layers, if my intention is to play with the opacity of one of them, as in these cases when we apply shadows and make the eyes, the same did not know what color to use that combined with everything and saw a harmony, I ended up deciding to use as a base the color brown. I also changed the background since I didn't like the basics that were seen.

Una capa florida / A flowery cape

Para finalizar los cambios, pensé en dibujarle una capa que semejara una flor de cayena, luego la reproduje varias veces y este fue el resultado, espero sea de tu agrado.

To finish the changes, I thought of drawing a cape that looked like a cayenne flower, then I reproduced it several times and this was the result, I hope you like it.
