After nine days the total collected sum is $402.15.

Although more funds are collected today, obviously, the number is substantially lower than yesterday's $449.33.
Why? Price of both Steem and SBD has fallen. Let's cross our fingers that the prices will rise by the time I will make a transaction to the fiat value of collected donations.
Actions Planned
Apart from the continuous effort to promote the campaign, I will contact the newspaper and the journalist to tell them about the fundraising.
I will also contact the charity organization which is in charge of collecting funds. I wish to make a personal contact and establish a communication channel through which we will be able to follow the effort our donation will make.
In my opinion, it is essential to carry on with the effort way after the funds are raised and delivered.
After all, this is not about satisfying our philanthropical ego. It is about making a change for the better for the people in need.
