Geocaching trackables are special items which can be tracked through their unique code. Their purpose is to travel from cache to cache. They add another dimension to the search for geocaches.
How to activate such a trackable item?
Let us suppose that you have purchased a trackable or received it as a gift. Which is a great idea, by the way.
Go to https://www.geocaching.com/track/ and enter the unique code f your trackable item.
On the next screen you will activate it with the code that was supplied with the trackable.
Now you can enter all the details of the item. You can change the name, enter its mission and description.
At the third step of the activation procedure, you enter date and location of the item's activation.
Congratulations! You trackable is activated.
Check your inventory
Yor newly activated trackable item is now safely in your personal inventory.
Add the photo
Let's make a photo of it and add it to the profile.
