Taylor Swift sang, “I’d never walk Cornelia Street again”, which shows how a place can become so connected to love that it feels impossible to return to.
But unlike that line in the song, if I ever get the chance, I would definitely walk Cornelia Street again- not the street in New York, but the Cornelia St. Bistro House in Baguio City.

From the outside, Cornelia St Bistro House looks aesthetic already. You will easily spot the Cornelia St Bistro signage, which makes it feel inviting even before you step in.

Before entering, there is a cute little map of the place that helps you navigate the inside.

On the roof outside, you will also see handwritten lyrics from Taylor Swift’s famous songs, which makes the whole area feel more artistic and aesthetic at the same time.

As soon as you enter, you'll hear Taylor Swift’s songs playing softly in the background. It instantly sets the mood as calm, cozy, and a little nostalgic.

Inside, there are many cute details everywhere, from small figurines to carefully placed decorations.

There is also a section where Taylor Swift albums are displayed on the wall, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming at all.
Even if someone is not a fan or is not very familiar with her music, the place still feels warm and easy to enjoy.
As you walk further inside, you will also see a display of pastries.

I honestly didn’t expect that they also serve meals, since I initially thought it was just a cafe. Unfortunately, I had lunch before going there, so I couldn’t try their full menu. Still, I decided to order something sweet.

I got my all time favorite cheesecake, I ordered the berries cheesecake which is a mix of strawberry and blueberry. I also paired it with a Swiftie drink called The Midnight Rain. My college friends were with me during the visit, and they ordered mango cheesecake and the Swiftie drinks Wildest Dreams and Cornelia St Latte.

We had a great time talking, reminiscing our college days and enjoying the food and drink while listening to music in the background. The place felt like a small escape in the middle of Baguio.

So while Taylor sings about never walking Cornelia St, my story is different. Iwould definitely go back and visit Cornelia St again, because some places are not meant to be left behind, but to be revisited.

"Cornelia Street” is such a sad song. Brokenhearted women and men make the most beautiful songs. 😅 Glad you turned it around into something fun!
