Chirkovo

And here is a new place of power! The images of this village are still in my head. And, remarkably, this place is again on the Kubena River near the village of Ustye!

I've always looked at Chirkovo from the other side of the Ustye, and I've never been near a church.

First, I explored one part of the village, then went to the church...which you can't get close to...It's all fenced off. Admire from afar!

But the place really impressed me with its silence, comfort and beautiful views.

Now I saw the village of Ustye from the other shore.

Here it is a metaphysical photograph...When there's nothing to say, there aren't many photos, but each one makes me feel like I'm standing there again, absorbing the river's scent mixed with blooming apple trees and cherries.

...Maybe the places of power are located at the confluence of rivers?

I haven't been able to find an answer yet.: Am I making the place magical, or is the place somehow affecting it?

Sometimes you arrive without a mood, but the place enlivens. And sometimes you arrive inspired, but even a potentially interesting place doesn't surprise you in any way.

Chirkovo seemed somehow its own, native. And all because I was born and lived in a similar place for many years!
