Today has been a lot. I’ve been on the road again for about 8 hours. I can’t wait to hit the bed when I get home. I stopped along the way to make this post at a bus stop an hour from my place. So it is safe to say that I’m almost home.
I made this sketch earlier this week with the notion of omission. I wanted to see how well it would play out of I omitted the hand in the reference. If you look at the first lineart, you would see what I’m saying.
But along the line, I felt the sketch wasn’t gaining its full expression and that the angle I’d picked was a bit off. To cushion the effect, I added the hand and in the end it was fair.
