First of all, there are many teachers that cross my mind at this very moment, because there have been several who have marked and left great traces in my life, beyond teaching everything about a curricular unit, they have helped me to be a little less ignorant, freer and more human...

En primer lugar, son muchos los profesores que pasan por mi mente en este preciso momento, debido a que han sido varios los que han marcado y dejado grandes huellas en mi vida, más allá de enseñar todo sobre una unidad curricular, me han ayudado a ser un poco menos ignorantes, más libre y más humana...

In this way, there is no doubt that there is a specific person that to this day, we continue to maintain a nice and pleasant connection and for this, I believe 100% that he would deserve a great award. He has been a prepared teacher and dedicated to what he is most passionate about, he has sown good habits in many students. He is a cheerful person, with a good mood, when it is necessary to demand the student to improve, he does it with great respect and then you can see the good results. In addition, he continues to be a humble person; very kind.

I tell you that I met him through my university studies: Food Science and Culture (from the National Experimental University of Yaracuy) in the curricular unit called English I. That was about 4 years ago.

By that time I remember that it was quite an interesting year, we learned English language, I even remember a class linked to the learning of Chinese literature. Paul Quintero, is a teacher of Chinese Calligraphy and Zen Drawing, and founded the Water Buddhas Drawing School in 1999 in Caracas with current locations in Barquisimeto, Maracay and Caracas.

Quien ha sido un maestro preparado y dedicado a lo que más le apasiona, ha sembrado buenos hábitos en muchos estudiantes. Es una persona alegre, con un buen humor, cuando es necesario exigirle al estudiante para su mejora, lo hace con muchísimo respeto y ya luego se observa los buenos resultados. Además, es una persona humilde; muy amable.

Les comento que lo conocí a través de mis estudios universitario: Ciencia y Cultura de la Alimentación (de la Universidad Nacional Experimental del Yaracuy) en la unidad curricular denominada Inglés I. Eso fue hace 4 años aproximadamente.

Para ese entonces, recuerdo que fue un año bastante interesante, aprendimos muchísimo del idioma inglés, inclusive recuerdo una clase vinculada al aprendizaje de la literatura China. Paul Quintero, es profesor de Caligrafía China y Dibujo Zen, y fundó la Escuela de Dibujo Budas de Agua en 1999 en Caracas con sedes actuales en Barquisimeto, Maracay y Caracas.

I think that was one of the things that made the classes super interesting, that the professor taught us a little bit of everything; of all his knowledge acquired in his journey of professional growth.

Currently, he is the official calligrapher of the Zen Association of Venezuela and directs a Zazen (Zen meditation) group in San Felipe, Yaracuy state.

Finally, for everything described above, it would be an honor for me to give an award to this great master of the language; Paul Quintero, for his dedication and vocation to what he does:)

Pienso que eso era una de las cosas que hacían súper interesantes las clases, que el profesor nos enseñaba un poquito de todo; de todo sus conocimientos adquiridos en su trayecto de crecimiento profesional.

Actualmente, es calígrafo oficial de la Asociación Zen de Venezuela y dirige u grupo de Zazen (meditación Zen) en San felipe, estado Yaracuy.

Finalmente, por todo lo descrito con anterioridad sería para mí un honor darle un premio a este gran maestro del idioma; Paul Quintero, por su dedicación y vocación a lo que hace.:)
