#Android users might lose access to their favorite apps.
To combat malware and financial scams, Google announced today that only apps from developers that have undergone verification can be installed on certified Android devices starting in 2026.

So, only the verified malware will be allowed now? Ugh, guess it's time to brush up modifying and installing Android...

I remember there was an Ubuntu project working to put full linux on an Android device, maybe I'll see where that's at these days.
