in Foodies Bee Hive4 years ago (edited)

Hello @foodiesbeehive community

It's my first time posting here
You can read my introduction post and know more about me here

I'm a lover of food and loves cooking,😁so i prepared smashed beans which is also called moi- moi in my country.

Beans are not only cooked for consumption, they can be prepared in another way that still gives protein.

Ingredients i used

  • Bean
  • Crayfish
  • Palm oil(for color- optional)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Maggi

How it was prepared it

Select dirt from beans and wash till it's cover is peeled off

Sock in clean water for easy removal of cover

After washing, add all your ingredients and grind

Here i used electric grinder to make it easy and quick.

Add little water when grinding to make is easier

Put in a plastic bag(preferably transparent) or plastic plate and boil

Avoid checking always, you can give yourself time about 30minutes to 1hour depending on the sizes in a particular plastic plate

I appreciate

I love crayfish! I used to catch them in the creek when I was little. What do you do with the moi-moi once it's in the bag? I have never seen this before 😉

Like putting it in the bag for boiling
Not a big bag, look at my picture

Ah! I understand now! I must have missed the part where you boil. This is so cool. Thanks for sharing!

Hahahahah...
