Fallen sind ein Stück Tauwerk auf Segelschiffen, mit welchen man Segel setzen, bergen (herunterlassen) oder reffen kann.
Dieses Bild entstand während eines Sonntagsspaziergangs am Germaniahafen, dieser ist ein Hafenbecken für Gastsegler und Traditionsschiffe. Ich gehe gern dort spazieren und schau mir die Schiffe an.
Halyards are a piece of rope on sailing ships, with which one can set sails, lower or reef.
This picture was taken during a Sunday walk at the Germania harbour, which is a harbour basin for guest sailors and traditional ships. I like to go for a walk there and have a look at the ships.
