No bendy solos or fast runs, just a great tune. I used to play this song in a band back in the 90s. Our lead singer had one of those 90s voices. You know the, Hootie and the Blowfish/Pearl Jam kind that lends itself to this kind of song.
Stone Temple Pilots was one of the bands that got me through the post 80s guitar thing. They took the popularity of grunge with muso that can play their instruments (with a sound and a way that I like).
There are only a handful of chords in the song, but they mush have got their "Alternative guitar chord dictionary" out when they wrote it. Really nice voicings of a few different chords in the verse gives it a descending chromatic run that sounds really nice.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

I really like STP. I used to play this with my band and we also did Plush by them.
This is a short song but it really gets the job done. That chord progression on the verse is some really good guitar work.
I think you did a great job with this one! Cheers!
We did that one too. The acoustic version of that is one of my favourite songs/recordings ever.
Just brilliant.
Hell yea! That's just brilliant indeed.
This version makes it so clear the monster that was Scott Weiland. One of the greatest voices of rock music, for sure.

Not a band I know too well, but I do know this song. Got some nice riffs in there. It's amazing how people keep coming up with new ways to use the same old chords.
Definitely more entertaining than your last video!
Rock on!
