Yesterday evening,
we were dressed in quiet grace.
We stepped into the evening,
hearts steady, yet glowing with
something deeper than smiles.
Side by side, my son and I,
two souls wrapped in one
gentle understanding,
filled with love for divine grace,
divine care, and appreciation
for an unconditional relationship.
That evening gathering
was definitely an
eternal love.

His laughter rose like a soft hymn,
pure, unfiltered, natural,
echoing innocence and faith.
In his eyes, I saw wonder—
a child discovering meaning
beyond the ordinary.
In his eyes, I saw dreams—
a child chasing light,
reaching for tomorrows,
fearless in his sight.
In his eyes, I saw genuine laughter
—a child wild and free,
dancing through each moment,
just as life should be.
In his eyes, I saw calm—
a child soft and still,
resting in the quiet
with a peaceful will.
In his eyes, I saw hope—
a child strong and bright,
holding on to goodness,
even in the night.
In his eyes, I saw love—
a is child pure and true,
a reflection of grace
in the simplest view.
Together we gathered,
in faith's gentle flame,
to remember a love
that forever remains.
We came not just to sit,
but to remember,
to honor a love that
gave without holding back.
And in that sacred gathering,
our joy felt holy, calm, and complete.
In that sacred moment,
so tender and right,
we were wrapped in peace,
in quiet light.
And beside him I stood,
with a heart full and wide,
a mother so grateful
to walk by his side.
In that simple moment,
captured forever,
was a story of love,
faith, and quiet strength.
Not perfect. Not planned—
just real.
A mother and her son,
bound by more than blood,
held together by truth,
hope, and something eternal.
In his eyes, I saw truth,
so rare and enduring.
In his eyes, I saw peace,
so soothing and comforting.
In his eyes, I saw home,
so welcoming and inviting.
In his eyes, I saw warmth,
so cozy, yet calming.
A child of light,
my heart rest safely in him.
In his eyes.

You use the repetition of "in his eyes" to successfully vreate the rhythm and create a refrain emphasising his innocence and love. I particularly liked "In his eyes, I saw love—a child pure and true, a reflection of grace in the simplest view." Pure timeless love.
Thank you very much
