Life presents various challenges; some, unfortunately, are self-inflicted. I'd like to share my encounter with self-deception, as I got lost in the entrancing world of video games.

As a young boy, video games were my haven. However, I was unknowingly cultivating an obsession that clouded my judgment and led me to overlook essential elements of life, including friendships, family, and health routines.

The wake-up call was jarring. I was trading meaningful real-world moments for fleeting virtual victories. My gaming was not just a hobby; it was a consuming force that eroded my emotional health and social bonds. I was in self-deception, neglecting life's true joys and the world beyond the screen.

A harsh truth hit me—I'd missed countless opportunities because of gaming. But in this bleak situation, I found hope in divine wisdom. God's words guided me out of my self-induced isolation, shedding light on my path.

These profound teachings helped me grasp life's essence—the value of relationships, mental and physical well-being, and the delight of engaging in the real world. They propelled me to recognize my self-deception and kickstart a transformative journey.

Though challenging, this path was rich with lessons. Self-deception can be a silent destroyer. Owning up to our mistakes and learning from them is crucial to personal growth and transformation.

For those caught in self-deception's snare, my advice is simple—reach out. Embrace wisdom from those who've treaded similar paths, seek solace in spiritual teachings, or lean on supportive individuals. Don't shy away from seeking help; it's a step towards resilience, not a sign of weakness.

This narrative is for everyone—self-deception is a universal trap. Cherish life, acknowledge when you're falling prey to unhealthy obsessions, and don't hesitate to seek help. Your transformative journey is just one decision away.

Life is fleeting; every moment is precious. Engage fully in life's beautiful game, armed not with denial, but with acceptance and a warm, open heart.

I myself am very fond of playing such games and I have been playing many similar games since my childhood. Without it, the life of the boys is incomplete because play them, the time is well spent and one gets to learn a lot of new things.

At one point of my life, i was also battling with game addiction that it was so several. Thanj god for people around me who help me out though. It has really been a while I actually played a game last
