Buying eBook Tokens on Steem Engine?
There is an exciting and new way for book readers to collect books. When you buy a digital copy of a book you really don't own the book. Now, thanks to the Publica project, authors can now turn their books into tokens that readers can buy, collect and even resell! Authors may think they don't want people to be able to resell their work at first, but if you think about it, this ability to resell a book adds value. Word of mouth is a powerful tool for authors, so a healthy second-hand market can boost your brand and reputation as an author for previous and future book sales.

Hobo Book Tokens!
Hobo Media plans on pumping out as many incredible e-books and e-magazines as fast as we can. We love the Steem community and believe it will only grow. Our focus is on encouraging the tokenized book economy for Steemians, which are educated, well read and active participants of this community.
However, Steem does not currently have the functionality we need to directly deliver our books to buyers. For this reason, we seek to on-board book buyers to using Publica. This dApp and its native token is built on Ethereum, so there is a bit of a barrier to entry for book enthusiasts.
We aim to solve this issue with a Steem Engine-based token that is pegged to Publica's native token PBL. This way, we can assist book buyers when seeking to buy Hobo Media books. We're going to make buying our books very easy.

Right now, buying PBL is not too easy to do. Some members of the crypto community might own BTC or STEEM but not own ETH. If you don't already own ETH, you'd have to convert your BTC or STEEM for ETH, losing money in the transaction, then go to an Ethereum dApp exchange and convert the ETH into PBL just to buy one of our books!
How can we do things smarter? Well, Hobo Media wants to make it a breeze, so we've set up a token on Steem Engine for our fellow Steemians! Soon, you will be able to buy PBL-pegged tokens off the Steem Engine market. This is useful because we'll deal with all the hassle, you just send us the pegged token and place an order. We'll make sure the books you want are sent right to your Publica book wallet. That's simple, the way things should be.

Hobo Media Publishing is starting its first book ICO or Initial Book Offering. During the 90 day ICO/book presale you can buy the book Will Bitcoin Become Evil? for only $0.10 per book token. After the 90 day ICO the price will be $2.99 per book, so we're talking about huge savings!
On top of that, soon Publica will launch an incredible secondary market for book resellers and, Hobo Media warmly welcomes you to resell any books we sell. Post-ICO, our prices will remain $2.99 per book, but if you want to resell your copies for $0.99, $1.99, $2.50 or whatever you would like, we fully support you. We want you to profit!
