Holo everyone!
If some of you remember, we asked for some funding from the DHF what feels like ages ago to develop HAF NFTs and today we're excited to announce that we're launching Holozing's first marketplace which utilizes it.
What does this mean for end users:
You'll be able to trade Holozing creatures and items from the Alpha Vials directly for Hive and HBD!
No fees spent for depositing or withdrawing Hive/HBD onto a platform.
No fees if you trade creatures and items with other players P2P. (Except for Resource Credits)
Everything occurs on Layer 1.
This is important to note as most of you may be used to trading nfts on a second layer application on Hive.

Our marketplace
While this is still the first iteration and additions are already planned, we wanted to get this out as soon as possible to let players trade as that's something we deem valuable in our games to empower players with.
Our marketplace takes a 3% fee from purchases, while this may seem high, it is mainly there to discourage wash trading which is something that affects most crypto marketplaces due to the anon nature of accounts and transactions. We hope this fee will protect our users who may not be aware of the value of creatures and items to not be tricked by fake trades into buying or selling something over or undervalued.
For those who wish to skip the fee completely, we will naturally allow peer 2 peer transfers of creatures and items and will also create a trade channel in our Discord server where they may discuss trades up front and potentially ask if someone is interested in helping them finish the trade as a counterparty.
Other things to keep in mind
Trades in the marketplace require your active key, thus be careful when placing trades or buying nfts. Keep in mind that we as the project cannot undo trades.
We're still working on adding some additional filters such as foil color and rename the current 'foil' filter to creature skin, which is what it actually is.
Ending note
Go give it a try! Many of you have been sitting on your Alpha Vial creatures and items for a good while and now you're able to trade them or purchase exactly what you think you'll need for our upcoming game(s) instead of buying a whole Vial.

The only thing I'd add is that when you select something to list, you need then to press close button to remove the selection but you will be prompted back to main page, make that tap select and tap again on the selected creature/item deselect it

I didn't get an alpha vial but from the prices I'm seeing here, it's not all that expensive.

This is a nice development. Users can enjoy seamless trades right onchain.
And that 3% fee makes all the difference. Protecting the real users from any wash trade should be a top priority for every marketplace and you just nailed it with that fee. Kudos.

We hope to launch holozing:wilds into beta soon along with their own NFTs, while giving some perks to people holding the real NFTs when starting out. For the main game, it'll take a bit longer.
Are the NFTs on Hive-Engine, Magi Network or somehow different?

So many options now when it comes to NFT on the Hive ecosystem. Will you consider allowing transferring the NFTs between these centralized or decentralized engines? I think that this way the marketplace might be more vivid, if that's not some technological nightmare. 😊
