Well done @blukei đ¤for bringing up this wonderful topic for the Round 19 of the Energy Refil contest,"Enjoy things by looking at it from a different perspective". I am sure that even when people are writingâ about this topic they will view from different perspectives and so to say the will derive joy and happiness from the perspective the look atđ.
Variety, they say, is the spice of life. Human beings enjoy things relatively and see things from various perspectives all the time.
The human mind is largely built by the environment in which the human finds his/herself.
From birth, the mind is trained and groomed by the things he/she sees, the cultural values and way of life are slowly ingrained into the child.
As the Holy Book, the Bible says â train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, heâll never depart from itâ. Therefore all of these determine how the child thinks, and the angle which he views life from. Another old proverb says âdifferent strokes for different folksâ and yet another is âone manâs food is another manâs poisonâ. All the aforementioned proverbs further buttress the fact that life can and is viewed from different angles. Take for instance you take a walk on the beach on a sunny afternoon. Your first attraction might be a surfer on the waves,

and my first attraction might be children building sand castles,

other's might be beautiful women in their beachwear basking in the sun or people taking photographs by the trees or waterside, or those riding on horses and those buying from the vendors at the beach. All of these and many more happen at the beach simultaneously but the pivotal point of focus for each individual differs.
The application of this logic to lifeâs situations is the same. For instance, going to watch a movie in the theatre might be tagged unnecessary and a waste of money to some people who would rather sit at the comfort of their homes and stream or Netflix and to others, a fun event. Either way, they have decided to enjoy seeing the movie at their own convenience and they will derive enjoyment from doing it their way.

Excellent reflection, I like the mention you make of the proverbs, because each proverb has a wisdom that passes from generation to generation, and we must always see things from another perspective, and I speak of the good perspective. To be happier!!
