Medium feasibility/medium impact at best. I'd imagine it to be very time 8and resource)-consuming to raise awareness among merchants and raising awareness alone will quite likely not change very much. For people to change something there needs to be a strong incentive to do so. At the very least merchants should be talked to personally, at least at the start of the process, until things "get rolling". Also, the "key-people" in a community should be identified. If these will pick up Steem it will be more likely others will follow.
