Road to Steemfest3: My introduction

Introduction

I have never been good at describing myself, but I will try somehow. A year ago I was 29 years old, this year I have not checked yet. I live in Poland, a bit in Wroclaw, a bit in Warsaw. Warsaw is the capital of Poland, and Wroclaw is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Poland. I'm very happy that SteemFest is just in Poland, because it means that I won't travel long :)

I'm a software developer by profession. Some time ago I became passionate about Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. And this is my current specialization at work. If we meet at SteemFest it is very possible that I will start talking about Artificial Intelligence, so if you are not interested in this, be careful! They also say that I am a nice guy, but I'm not a specialist, so I do not know.

Steem

I discovered Steem thanks to a @noisy who tried to advertise Steem in various places. A lot of people from the Polish community (we use the #polish tag) is just by him!

My posts on Steem can be divided into three topics:

  • statistics
  • Steem related articles
  • artificial intelligence

Every month I create two posts , which is a summary of activity on #polish, one about users, and the other on the most popular polish tags. What's interesting, I started to do this type of statistics only on Steem. I've never done anything like that before, but I liked it somehow here.

Most of my posts are in Polish. I use two accounts:

  • @jacekw - posts in Polish and sometimes posts in English but regarding the Polish community.
  • @jacekw.dev - posts only in English and only on technical topics (programming, machine learning, statistics)

I am also fascinated by the growth of various communities in Steem. Some time ago I created such a post: Analysis of non-English communities on Steem. I tried to find all non-English speaking language communities on Steem. It turned out that there are quite a lot of them. And as I am a member of the #polish community, I was curious about others (especially the smaller ones that are hard to find).

A week ago I started a series of posts where the #polish community asks questions (and also answers these questions) to other communities:

  1. MeetCommunity #1: Hello #spanish community! We are #polish community. We would like to know more about you!
  2. MeetCommunity #2: Hello #indonesia community! We are #polish community. We would like to know more about you!

Poland

Much can be said about Poland, but I do not want to bore anyone here, so I will focus on the most important one - the most popular Polish dish is Pierogi.

I've seen a bot that reacts to the command !popcorn and pastes a random photo of popcorn. I think that during SteemFest one need to make a similar bot, but reacting to the command !pierogi.

If someone needs help with luggage, I will help :D

That's how delegating STEEM POWER looks in real life!

Sort:

the most popular Polish dish is Pierogi

The best pierogi in Krakow you can find here: 50.063765, 19.936718

They should have a billboard "The best pierogi" ;)

That's so obvious that they shouldn't.

Can you into !pierogi?

Ale mi zrobiles!!! Nie pamietam kiedy ostatnio to jadlam!!!

Cool, see you there AI man :)

Nice to see you too! :D

love that steempower pic :D

Edit: will there be celebrations for 100 year independence in Krakow bigtime as well or only in Warsaw that said weekend?

That's how delegating STEEM POWER from one user to another looks like. It's a pity that nobody says it officially, but it's hard work! :D

Greetings from Indonesia, @jacekw
