What's your favorite way to play the Street Fighter series of games? I would love to play it on the PlayStation 5, but I don't have one of those or even a controller. All I got is my old phone, a Samsung Galaxy A2, which means the touchscreen controls will be the most important factor. I greatly dislike telecommunication companies and don't even have a SIM card in my cell phone. It seems everywhere I like to go has Wi-Fi so there doesn't seem to be any point in giving scammer telecom companies any more money. This means I will be without any internet connection from time to time though so I'm glad I have cool offline games to play like Street Fighter and all the other old-school games I liked to play as a kid easily emulated on my phone.

I went with three different generations of Street Fighter games. I emulated the Super Nintendo, and SEGA Dreamcast, and used the Street Fighter game available in the Google Play Store. I think there is a version for the 8-Bit original Nintendo Entertainment System but it was a total piece of junk and isn't worth trying unless nostalgia is your only motivation. I'm a lifelong Street Fighter player. I prefer emulating it on a PSP, but if a phone is all you got I think these three are your best options, but maybe I'm wrong. Do you know of a better way to have a great Street Fighter gaming experience on your phone?

The Super Nintendo version is best if you don't want a challenge. If you want to learn how to play the game or get back into it again or get used to the horrible touchscreen controls then this is the best way to do it. I like the controls better on the other versions though. You can of course go with the original Street Fighter II, but Street Fighter Alpha 2 is the best in my opinion.

After emulating the Sega Dreamcast successfully, I deleted all of the games to save space except for the Street Fighter games which looked amazing back then and still do today on the small screen of the phone. I feel this has the best touchscreen controller as well as gameplay. Visually it's the best-looking version as well. Something is wrong with the emulator and it only allows me to play games without the save state working properly so it works like an arcade without having to drop any quarters. SEGA is the hardest version of Street Fighter gameplay so I'll warm up with a Super Nintendo version first.

Maybe you don't want to mess around with emulators or finding ROMs so you can just download the game from the Google Play Store. It works just like the emulations, but the characters seem kind of rough and the gameplay isn't as fun as the emulated versions. They try to get some money from you to try to play some versions of the game but the arcade version works fine and offline as well.

Thanks for reading about my Street Fighter gameplay today. I didn't want to bother with learning any new character moves so I just stuck with Ken and Ryu. I hope I got you in the mood to do some street fighting again. All you can!
