Greetings Steemians!
I just realized that Steemit now allows users to customize their cover images. The pixel dimensions I'm using are 2000 x 300 pixels. This is the basic cover image that I use on all my social media profiles, adjusted to conform to the Steemit ideal dimensions:
To set your own custom cover image, click on your avatar in the upper right corner of your screen while logged into Steemit and select "Settings." You will need the direct link to the image you want to use, and paste that into the "COVER IMAGE URL" field then scroll down and click the Update button. Note: You cannot simply upload an image. Your image must be hosted somewhere online.
Cover Images for You
If you'd like a quick and easy update of your cover image, I've provided a few samples below. Simply right click the image you want to use and select "Copy image address" and paste it into the "COVER IMAGE URL" field on your Settings page and click the Update button. If you need help with any of this, feel free to leave a comment and I'll do my best to assist you.
I would also be willing to create a simple custom cover image for you for just 1 SBD. Just comment with a description your request, including any images you would like me to use (if you have any) and transfer 1 SBD to @jeremycrow. If for any reason I feel like I can't deliver what you are asking for, I will promptly refund your payment.

To use that image you posted in the comment, right click it and copy image address and then paste that into the Image URL field in your edit-profile screen. Good luck!
