Not here my friend, not here. All the behavior modification attempts in the world can not thwart those who want to cheat or do harm. I object to so many of the rules here, the upvote curve especially, which makes my money do less good for the very people who could use it the most.
I believe you are allowed to post on Hive stuff you have already posted on steem. I have been double posting the exact same post. Upvoting my own work on steem as well, apparently that is now OK on steem. Maybe you need to say so if you are double posting, I see folks do provide that info but I haven't been. I just remembered that I haven't read the notice you got and sent to me yesterday, will try to get to it today.

Hi owasco we don't really upvote cross posted previous posts but we don't block them or do anything like that. To me it's just an odd grey area and I'd love to see the blockchain developers program it in so people could post to more than one community and get rid of cross posts all together.

For me it's not about the upvotes. I posted some of my very best stuff at the beginning of my journey here on steem, and not one single person read them. Here's a haiku I posted long ago about it. No one read this one either.

You may cross post old posts in the communities so that they earn again. I've done it. They also show up on your blog. I'll do one for you. Which would you like? Although you may do it yourself too. They don't earn a lot, but will earn some and maybe someone will read them, who knows? All of your autovotes will upvote the cross post it you post it, all of mine will if I cross post it. Or so I think.
