Hola mis queridos, veo con entusiasmo que aún hay muchos hivers haciendo este reto y siguen activos en la comunidad de Discord. Me uní gracias a @tripode y @starstrings01, que ya tienen nuevos retos, concursos, juegos y más. Les recuerdo este reto fue propuesto para incentivar a los bloggers de hive a hacer más post y luchar contra el qué postear cada día. También es una excelente iniciativa para conocernos mejor. El día de hoy hablaré sobre mis pensamientos sobre la educación.
Hi my darlings! I’m very happy that there are a lot of Hivers participating in this initiative and they are still active in the community on Discord. I joined thanks to @tripode and @starstrings01. They have new challenges, contests and games. I remind you, this challenge has the purpose of encouraging Hive’s bloggers to make more posts and fight against what to publish every day, like a planification. Also is an excellent initiative to get to know each other. What I’m going to share today is about my thoughts on education.

Para no hacer este post muy largo, comentaré directamente que la educación necesita evolucionar y no estoy hablando de que sea online y que aprovechemos el internet, lo que creo que necesitamos es poder relacionar y juntar todas las asignaturas con nuestra vida real, dentro del salón de clase. Que haya más comunicación entre estudiantes y maestros para que entendamos que lo que se aprende en el aula no queda nada más en el aula y en algún papel, sino que es o será importante para nuestra vida en el futuro o por el contrario entendamos que no nos vamos a interesar por ello y está bien no ser bueno en alguna cosas.
Creo que para todos hubiera sido más sencillo nuestra estadía en el colegio, el bachillerato, etc. si en el salón de clase se nos permitiese expresarnos y relacionar lo que aprendemos hoy con la sociedad, nuestra familia y nosotros mismos.
Esta idea ronda en mi cabeza por varios años y claro muchas cosas serían posibles si la importancia y motivación de nuestros maestros y profesores fuera digna. Yo soy una profesora y aprendí a relacionarme con mis estudiantes poco a poco. Es más sencillo cuando se puede entablar comunicación con uno a la vez pero descubrí que también se puede con un grupo más grande y dentro de un salón de clase. Además de poder aprender de nuestros estudiantes, también ellos aprenden a respetarnos y a interesarse por lo que nosotros tenemos para enseñarles.
Les contaré dos, digamos, anécdotas que me parece hacen este punto de vista válido:
Estando en primaria y “secundaria” lo que más me costó aprender en mi vida fue escribir correctamente y me refiero a las materias de gramática y lenguaje, en mi caso castellano. De hecho los dictados y copiar del pizarrón lo hacía bastante rápido pero no me tomaba nada en serio lo de aprender cualquier cosa que tuviera que ver con la literatura (leer o escribir). Al sol de hoy estoy muy consciente de que tengo muchas fallas y no me interesa profundamente estas materias pero aprendí a respetarlas y en cierto modo a quererlas.
Mi profesora de castellano, Carmen Oseches o “carmencita” como la llamamos, era una joven profesora con amor hacia la literatura, el lenguaje y su profesión. Desde que llegó a mi vida cada asignatura, guía, tema, canción, juego, obra de teatro, concurso, charla motivacional y clase se volvió más divertida e interesante. Ella nos explicaba cada cosa con pasión y cariño, se sentaba contigo si no lo entendías y a través de la competencia sana te daba oportunidades de las que querías formar parte, por lo que debías mejorarte a tí mismo para lograrlo.
Anteriormente les conté sobre cómo me interesé en mi libro favorito, pueden pasar a leerlos en el siguiente enlace: , todo fue gracias a esta profesora. Hoy les contaré sobre otro de estos concursos. este tenía que ver con unos dictados de palabras, palabras
difíciles de escribir tanto porque eran rebuscadas gramaticalmente y según si significado, como: decisión, a través, además, al revés, a ver, haber, brújula... (esas aún me cuestan jaja). Este concurso se hacía una vez al mes, creo, y quienes tuvieran la nota máxima tenían un premio, pero era un premio genial como una entrada al cine o al bowling. La historia es que yo nunca pude ganar nada de eso pero nunca dejé de intentarlo ni de estudiar. Sobre todo porque todos en mi salón eran unos genios así que competir contra ellos era complicado. Aún así, repito, no dejé de intentarlo y menos de que el número de palabras correcta bajara, la competencia era contra mi misma, comencé a tener más cuidado y ahora me da grinch cuando las personas escriben mal o no se esfuerzan por ver un diccionario o leer o al menos prestar atención al autocorrector del teclado.
Sin un profesor así que me enseñara el lado entretenido de esta materia no sería capaz de redactar ni la mitad de bien de lo que hago hoy (y no estoy hablando de que sea buenísima en esto), no tendría la capacidad de expresar y ser entendida a través de un escrito o de tomarme el tiempo sagrado de leer el de otra persona. También sin la capacidad de entender la gramática, aprender otro idioma iba a ser el triple de difícil. Estoy segura que la gramática y la literatura son la base de la educación, desarrollan nuestra mente y son parte de la vida cotidiana. Le doy gracias eternas a carmencita por haber tenido esa pasión y ganas de enseñarnos, el castellano no es mi materia favorita pero aprendí, y aprendí con la mejor.

Hace poco terminé de ver una serie de Disney que se llama “El Mundo de Riley” donde cada clase de historia era una lección para prepararlos para el mundo. Llegaron a “descifrar” el secreto de la vida y de cómo las acciones del pasado podemos entenderlas para lograr cambiar nuestro futuro. No me extenderé en esto porque sería grandioso que ustedes pudieran ver la serie y además espero poder hacer un pequeño post de la misma.
In order not to make this post too long, I will comment directly that education needs to evolve and I am not talking about it being online and that we take advantage of the internet, what I think we need is to be able to relate and join all the subjects with our real life, right inside the classroom. That there is more communication between students and teachers so we can understand that what is learned in the classroom is not just in the classroom or on a piece of paper, but that it is or will be important for our life in the future or on the contrary we understand that we are not going to be interested in it and it is okay to not be good at some things.
I believe that it would have been easier for all of us to stay in school, high school, etc. if in the classroom we were allowed to express ourselves and relate what we learn today to society, our family and ourselves.
This idea has been in my head for several years and of course many things would be possible if the importance and motivation of our teachers and professors were worthy. I am a teacher and I learned to relate to my students little by little. It is easier when you can communicate with one at a time but I found that you can also do it with a larger group and within a classroom. In addition to being able to learn from our students, they also learn to respect us and be interested in what we have to teach them.
I will tell you two, shall we say, anecdotes that seem to me to make this point of view valid:
When I was in elementary and high school what I had the hardest time learning in my life was to write correctly, and I am referring to grammar and language subjects, in my case Spanish. In fact, I was quite fast at dictation and copying from the blackboard, but I didn't take learning anything that had to do with literature (reading or writing) seriously at all. To this day I am very aware that I have many faults and I am not deeply interested in these subjects but I learned to respect them and in a way to love them.
My Spanish teacher, Carmen Oseches or "carmencita" as we called her, was a young teacher with a love for literature, language and her profession. Since she came into my life every subject, guide, theme, song, game, play, quiz, motivational talk and class became more fun and interesting. She explained everything with passion and love, sat down with you if you didn't understand and through healthy competition gave you opportunities that you wanted to be part of, so you had to improve yourself to achieve it.
Previously I told you about how I became interested in my favorite book, you can read about it in the following link: it was all thanks to this teacher. Today I will tell you about another of those contests. This one had to do with some word dictations, words that were difficult to write because they were complicated grammatically and according to their meaning, in spanish of course, such as: decisión, a través, además, al revés, a ver, haber, brújula...(those are still hard for me haha). This contest was once a month, I think, and whoever had the highest score got a prize, but it was a cool prize like a ticket to the movies or bowling. The story is that I could never win any of that but I never stopped trying or studying. Mostly because everyone in my classroom was a genius so competing against them was tough. Even so, I repeat, I didn't stop trying and even less that the number of correct words went down, the competition was against myself, I started to be more careful and now I get grinch when people misspell or don't make an effort to look at a dictionary or read or at least pay attention to the keyboard autocorrector
Without such a teacher to teach me the entertaining side of this subject I wouldn't be able to write half as well as I do today (and I'm not talking about being great at it), I wouldn't have the ability to express and be understood through writing or to take the sacred time to read someone else's writing. Also without the ability to understand grammar, learning another language would be three times as difficult. I am sure that grammar and literature are the basis of education, they develop our minds and are part of everyday life. I am eternally grateful to carmencita for having that passion and desire to teach us. Spanish is not my favorite subject but I learned, and I learned with the best.

I recently finished watching a Disney series called "Girl meets world" where each History class was a lesson to prepare them for the world. They got to " decode" the secret of life and how the actions of the past can be understood in order to change our future. I won't expand on this because it would be great if you could watch the series and also I hope to do a short post of it.
