  As a GM, I can't stress enough how important it is to develop backstories for NPCs. In fact I wrote something just today about it Building Depth in Games: Contagonists Keep up the great work!

  I agree. Dungeons and Dragons (and role playing in general) helps develop important social skills, including empathy and teamwork! And it really does belong on a resume!
