Here is my weekly status and giveaway. From my math, it looks like I earned more starbits this week compared to last week so it wasn't that bad. Given the drop in starbits price, I have been holding off on packs so I can look for some cheaper unique cards on sale in the market.

The card I got the most from my pack opening is Ian but I gave him away in a previous giveaway. So I decided to give out Stig this week.

The giveaway item is R94 Stig and it has 125 fans, 175 skill, 5 luck and 3 income modifier. With more skills than fan, this is a great addition to any collection. It will definitely help you get your ego in check.

Current Status

It's the first week where I actually earned over 200k starbits. I did take out 170k from the game to fund my card and pack purchases. There wasn't really anything notable in my pack openings. I guess there is a Jet Ski card since vehicles are quite rare.

I saw a few cards on sale in the market. Maybe because I am tired of waiting but I spent almost 24k on a Wizzy card. Then I bought 2 coffee cups that were on sale for a cheaper than market price. The coffee cups will definitely help me in managing the time spent on missions in-between pizza usage.

I managed to see a card that I didn't have before on sale for 2k starbits each. It might be a bit expensive but I bought up all 4 and then listed 1 on sale for 6k starbits. It did sell so I ended up with 3 of these cards for 2.8k starbits (500 starbits fee to list and 300 for sales fee). It wasn't a bad deal after selling one for a marked up price.

I was looking around today and saw that the RS 101 is now discontinued. So I bought 9 more of these piano instruments but the 2.5k was already bought out before I could buy it. I did find another 5 for sale at 2.5k later though. It was cheaper compared to what I paid a few weeks ago.

Current Goals

I was a bit disappointed to see only a slightly increase in unique cards from my pack openings. In the end, it went up more due to me buying some cards off the market to increase that number.

My timing is slightly higher than last week but my rank is also a bit further down. It looks like people are still buying packs and increasing their collection so I wonder if I will ever be in the top 50.

Tips (source)

I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.

Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
If you have more fans than skill and you want reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards
Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.
