Watch who you trust because even your teeth bite your tongue every now and then! Indeed, sometimes the threat to your joy and testimony is not those that oppose you Physically, it's those that are supposed to be beside you. Always remember that in this wicked world, loyalty is rare. That is why you must not judge everybody from physical appearances and you must never trust anybody except yourself, because you never when those 'real' friends will disappear and become real enemies.
People change! Nation Change! Some people will pretend to care so that they can get a better seat to watch your struggle. Some people are just not worth the breath of air it takes to say their name.
Not everyone who smiles at you is your friend. Sometimes blood isn't thicker than water and family will cross you quicker than strangers. I think the absolute, saddest thing is when you really truly believe you have a friend in someone, and they backstab you. It's heartbreaking isn't it? Sitting there wondering what you did to deserve it after investing so much time and love into a person... but why is it that we sit there truly affected and hurt but the other person easily walks away like nothing happened? I'm someone who constantly forgives but maybe, sometimes we have to give up on people to allow then go. Not because we don't care anymore, but because they don't. We are fine without them at some point, and we will be okay again. Yes, he did but Absalom made him to weep (2 Sam 15:30). Hear this: The greatest mistake in life is to think the people you help will reciprocate your kind gesture.
If the Lord Jesus, the maker of the product called 'MAN' refused to trust men, then why should you? Do you know what is in man beyond their smiles and sweet promises it wheel chair, etc? No wonder it was Judas who betrayed Jesus; Brutus betrayed Caesar and Joseph was betrayed by his closest brothers! Oh, I ask this million-dollar question: "Who will betray you? "
Prove everyone around you before you trust them, let ur values be the yardstick for this testing, cause if your values clash with their's then thats where betrayal shows up cos its no big deal to the other person meanwhile to you its not acceptable , that is why
Because the decision to choose a friend is yours so choose wisely
Improve in your values , get the right values so one doesnt get to betray one's self
