ブック Bukku Cafe had opened for just a shy 2 years, in a newly developed housing area at Bukit Raja. It's at a 2 storey shop lot, a small cafe but with an open-air backyard, a very cosy place to hang out with friends to have a cuppa coffee/tea and some really nice desserts
I must say the decorations are quite unique, see the fighting fish inside the light bulb? Fighting fish is a very common fish that can live without supplying them oxygen. All the furniture, tables and chairs are all wooden, even the tea spoon is wood, very earthy feel.
They mainly sell very unique pastry and desserts, but there are also a few signature dishes for those hungry and seeking for main courses.
Today we are here for the desserts only, but unfortunately, there wasn't much left when we got there, so we ordered a slice of Red Velvet, a cup of Signature Cinnamon Hot Chocolate, a cold-pressed Kedondong fruit juice and a hot long-black.
Surprisingly, after an hour passed, a new batch of Rainbow cake arrive and we quickly order a slice, because I heard they were really good. That is why the last photo seems to be a bit different from the rest.
So overall, their desserts were really good, I like the coffee very much, they used a just mildly toasted beans, so it's just good to wash down all the sweets we had. Staffs are attentive, the environment is bright and clean due to each seat you will have a designated window and a powerpoint, suitable for people who like to work in cafes.
I will definitely come again, with friends and family. If you ever pass-by this area, do pay them a visit!

Another great review from you, I could have given you a curation 2 days ago but I wanted to be fair to other contestants so I waited until more posts showing up. Your post is still one of the best ones and it deserves a curation. I like betta fish and that bulb light however, that fish is very sensitive to light, I think I should ask them to put that fish in a better container.

Very lovely photos, lailai, those coffees and cakes look really pretty (and yummy) ! The hot choco looks so wonderful and the rainbow cake .... is it delicious? I feel like my insides will have rainbow colours if I have that ! XD

I am not a fan of that lightbulb though. Putting a fish in there is animal cruelty.
I think its for decoration purpose only, they cannot light up the bulb actually.
That place looks awesome. The first cake reminds me of a traditional german cake called Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte :)

Yes they aee famous, almost every pastry shops or restaurants that served dessert will have their own version of Black Forest, which almost the same anyway. 😊
