I've tried to be a lot more active this winter even with some frigid temperatures. Winter in Canada can be...An adventure. But I made the commitment a few years ago, to get out and hike multiple times a week.
So this winter....I haven't let the snow hold me back lol
It helps when you have a dog to go along for the walks too :)
So today was beautiful! Just around freezing, so it was warmer than it's been. The sun was out so I decided to take a trip to the 'Mirror Lake Trail' in Camrose, Alberta.
It's a very clean 2.3 km hike around a small pond / lake in the middle of town. It might be strange to call it a hike in the middle of a town but if you check out the pictures....You'll see why!
You run into deers all the time, and this afteroon we met a few bucks on the path. My dog was 'calm' and didn't start barking which is a good thing because apparently....The male deers don't get along with dogs much lol
What a great day out and about....
I took a few shots, and of course...The last one is some true 'Canadian culture'!
Hope you enjoy them!

These are great man! And let’s hit the ice, hey?
Wao All these places looks so beautiful and amazing. I also love to live in an area where it snows. Where I live, it doesn't snow here.
Beautiful shots buddy

That looks so cold... but proper cold.
Here in South Africa.... we do not normally get snow except on some mountains.
Though I would like to think of myself as a bit of an anomaly. Right now it is 17C, early morning, it is raining outside and generally, people would be snuggled up in bed nice and warm right now.
I am downstairs where it is cooler, I have a tile floor downstairs. I am sitting here doing my Hive stuff and I am wearing my briefs only 🤣🤣🤣 No shirt, no shoes or socks. I am quite comfortable and like the slight coolness on my skin. I do not consider this intense cold, like when you hold an ice block in your hand.
So I generally feel like I am built for cooler weather.
