I'm in such a weird place when it comes to my crypto journey....
I'm still this massive fan boy of everything happening on $LEO while pretty stoic about everything on $HIVE
I see a future on LEO, but not so much on the larger blockchain as things are right now. I mean, it'll serve it's purpose, it'll keep producing blocks and things will go as is....But see, that's the issue.
For almost 7 years now, I've been bullish and excited for the 'future' of this chain....Sadly, that future really hasn't materialized. Who is to blame? It's easy to point fingers but I just think, crypto as a whole lives and breathes on hype.
Bitcoin and Ethereum will always be the 'must haves' and grand daddies of the markets. But doesn't it seem like every year, we find a new chain that everyone swears by? And sadly, Hive has never really become the 'new thing' because it's not really...New.
Maybe it's just meant to be what it is right now...A niche token, fantastic community and fly's under the radar of the major players in crypto....And maybe, that's o.k? Maybe, we're exactly where we are meant to be....Who knows. I just know, I'm getting bored of crypto as a whole honestly. Lots of promises, very little promises kept. And it's fine to say, down the road....The future etc....But after 6 plus years here, I'm just enjoying the day to day experience...Not really holding my breath for anything huge any time soon.
If it happens....Fantastic! Because push comes to shove, Hive isa fantastic tech. And it solves so many of the world's problems. And has the greatest savings plan in history :)
If it doesn't.....Ahh well, I still wouldn't build a social media following anywhere else. I like my little community :)
But until then....Let's stack ;)
150,000 LEO Power
Big dip this week, as I'm kind of starting back at around 110k LEO power. The road to 150k is going to happen but it might take some extra time. Not a problem, I'm still curating as much as I can and only creating on the LEO front end!

I did love seeing my curation APR go over 7.5% this week. That's huge, even though again...I'm not around much any more. But when I do get a chance, I hang out in Threads and curate as much as I can. Love seeing people still passionate about the LEO community. It's got the brightest future on chain that I can see.
Here's something interesting...
I had to laugh....My creation and curation rewards are almost on par. Not sure if that's a good thing, or a bad thing but hey, I'll take the extra 100 plus HP this week no matter what. No more power downs in sight for the time being so for now...We climb and stack!

I really feel your frustration with the slow progress in the crypto world. It’s tough when the hype doesn't match the reality. But it’s really great that you’re finding some joy in the LEO community and staying engaged good friend...🥰🥰
I mean, the crypto world moves fast. People adapt pretty quick but on chain here, things seem to always take their time.
You're absolutely right on that good friend... I hope this can be discussed in this year's HiveFest though 🤔
Hive is fantastic but I think it's hard to stand out in the crypto world. I just don't think that people would push Hive because they can't really control this decentralized network. It's slow work but if Hive/LEO stands out through actual results, it will happen.
I do believe that has a huge part to play. People scream they want decentralization but when push comes to shove, they really dont lol
And it is strange to see the price of Steem has almost reached that of HIVE.
Yeah because it's centralized. When people can influence price, it tends to do better.
$0.30 for a long time, it is not where the price of HIVE should be mate.
I understand that you are going through a time of reflection about your journey in the cryptocurrency world.
It's normal to feel this way after so long. I appreciate your perspective on $LEO and $HIVE, as well as your vision for the future of these cryptocurrencies.
Sometimes, it's exhausting waiting for promises to be fulfilled.
But at the end of the day, the important thing is to enjoy the daily experience and appreciate the community you have built.

Hive is a very fantastic tech. We just have to keep pushing it if we have to make the most from it. Hive is a wonderful platform and keep it up with your goals

It’s quite sad to see that you feel bullish about the price of Hive but it is yet to happen. I wish you the best of luck though and I hope we get to an awesome price someday
