Like a flagon, upturned with ale
spilled lather, on suicide letter,
drenched by weakness,
the body is like a wool on a pyre,
burnt to total blackness,
the mind is unable to spin thoughts,
weave them like a beaver,
graciously flowing in circular pattern
unable to smear like a river,
There's dearth in the soul,
a smoking forest without fire,
ferns afloat water surfaces,
uncertain of the tide,
a trumpet without melody,
yapping through the ears,
like the gibbering of the monkeys
but when the dusk is hidden beyond the seas
silence becomes king,
There's dearth in the soul
a shortage of consciousness,
we're like spears unwielded,
deprived of purpose,
like an oasis in the stream,
walking the earth forlorn,
living like sands of the seas,
swimming in empty seas,
and drinking thirst down the throat
There's dearth In the soul,
beautiful flowers, without the sunset's gaze,
like an inferno harmlessly burning
we're travelling to places without borders,
blank as the virginity of a page,
unwritten emotions and sheathed kisses,
our lives are bereft like graves,
swarming with nothing but nothing,
