The nation is currently in chaos from the #endsars initiative and this is because the police, a federal anti-robbery unit in the judicial arm of government took advantage of the incessant increase in the rate of fraud during the lockdown brought about by covid-19 to terrorise every youth out there in other to extort money out of them.
The system is built in such a way that good or bad things becomes profitable for the government. Now while this unit of the police are extorting money from almost anyone they see in the name of checking fraud. The prices of virtually everything has increased in Nigeria while the minimum wage still remains under 60$.
The bigger issue is that even public services have increased in cost and electricity for prepaid unit have reduced their unit meaning people now pay same amount before the lockdown while using less which means in the long run, people spend more money. In this video I talk about why the government and her arms and decentralised agencies have profited from covid-19 100% while claiming to be losers.

That really sucks that the local cops try to shake you down for money. Sounds like its already hard enough without that bs.
Of course, it's how bad things have really gotten in a democratic state such as Nigeria. I mean it's unheard of but it's how it goes down over here
