all i am now but a dark dreamer,
i can see a black door in a blue sky.
and the gray clouds come and go,
i can see a snowstorm in mid august
and the night fall of my soul.
all i am now but a dark dreamer,
i can see disarray in a field of flowers
and leaves falling from dead trees.
i can see hate where there once was love,
and darkness indistinguishable from light.
all i am now but a dark dreamer,
blind only by what his eyes can see.
remnants of forgotten love blossoms,
and vague memories of what used to be.
a dark dreamer is all that's left of me.
