Madame Tussauds wax museum, Odaiba, Tokyo

in #japan7 years ago

Madame Tussauds is a popular wax museum famous for its lifelike wax figures of famous historical figures, politicians, royalties, sportsmen and movie stars. It originated from London and has several smaller museums in major cities worldwide.

I visited the wax museum located in Decks Tokyo Beach Island Mall in Odaiba, Tokyo and had such an entertaining and fun moment! Check out my memorable (and embarrassing 😝) shots below! 🤣

With Usain Bolt and his signature pose. 😂

-- Princess Diana! She’s really tall!
-- Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Kate Middleton looks so real but Prince William looks a bit different... is it his hairstyle? 🤔🤔🤔
-- Taking a call in the Oval Office with Mr Barack Obama by my side. (Call me “Ms President”! 😜)

-- AKB Mayu Watanabe
-- AKB Oshima Yuko
-- Dressed up in Yukata (free to try) and posing with Japanese reformer and samurai- Ryoma Sakamoto.
-- Having breakfast with Audrey Hepburn!

-- Fan moment with Messi!
-- Maria Sharapova.
-- David Beckham in his younger days.

-- Arnold Schwarzenegger
-- Riding upwards with E.T!
-- Bruce Lee

-- Bruce Willis
-- Johnny Depp. There is a trophy prop for phototaking!
-- Meryl Streep
-- Brad Pitt

-- Sharing the stage with Beyoncé! 🎤🎤🎤
-- Sharing the stage now with King of Pop- Michael Jackson!!! This is very lifelike too!
-- Trying to be Mona Lisa... 🤣
-- Famous world artist: Yayoi Kusama. This is the most lifelike and natural wax figure I have seen! So real that I’m scared to sit next to her. 😅

I've been to a wax museum once in Victoria, Canada. It amazes me how realistic they can make them. It's kind of scary.

Agree! I was a little terrified of some of them!

Woah, this wax museum is incredibly amazing and fun indeed :D

Yes it was quite fun and some wax figures are really life-like!

Very cute:) And looks fun!!

Yeah fun doing all the silly poses with my friend! 😝

nice pics! I've only been to Madame Tussauds in HK many many years ago.
I'm not familiar with Yayoi Kusama but in that pic she looks like the old woman in sg chinese horror movies XD

Madame Tussaud’s Hong Kong was the first wax museum that I went too. Oh yes! Yayoi Kusama is the most realistic of all!!! 😱

Nice photo shoot, I see you are very excited. Hmmm ... I hope I can go to that museum, because I want to go there all the time :')

Lol! Because I had a very fun loving friend who was with me. So we had a lot of fun doing silly poses. 😝
