Powering up...

Thoughts...

With what's been happening in and outside of Hive, and the general bearish sentiment in the crypto world, I am powering up my liquid Hive to increase my HP. The reason behind this is because I see the low Hive price as an opportunity to get a substantial amount powered up before the next bull run. It may be a few years before we see this happen again, unless Hive goes against the tide the price stay put, but I hope that it does go up sometime in the near future.

Sadly, I've missed out on blogging and mostly generate rewards through curation and delegation. I love writing and uploading content, but because of my life outside of Hive, it has been challenging to do so.

Salawikain

In the Philippines, we have a salawikain (proverb), "kung may itinanim, may aanihin", which means if you planted something, you will harvest something. This is me planting on Hive and hoping to have a good harvest in the future. It isn't looking good these days, but what can we do. There are wars and disasters going on all over the world. And some bad things happened here on the platform, but it doesn't mean the end of the Hive ecosystem. There are still people who build on the platform and we still have an army of bloggers just waiting for the price action to reverse to go back to creating content.

I'm still waiting for the day when we can replace our income from our day jobs with the income from Hive rewards. I'm guessing there are many others like me who would love for the platform to be successful in becoming the top place to publish online. Wishful thinking? Maybe. Or, maybe not. Only time will tell if it was good to build here instead of just doing traditional social media. Or, build on both.

Don't put all your eggs...

There's sage advice in the adage "don't put all your eggs in one basket". This proverb has been around for a long time that we generally believe it to be true. It even appeared in Don Quixote. These days, we say diversification. Diversifying means that we don't rely on a single stock or cryptocurrency. If I had to, it would be Bitcoin, but since other options are available, I still try to check out others that catch my attention.

Final thoughts

We often stumble when we panic, this is true in investing as it is while going down a mountain in the middle of the night. All we can hope for is some good weather and a little bit of luck. I'm rambling already so I will end here. Still, glad to be able to upload something after doing some "overtime" work. Wishing everyone a beautiful day ahead.

Love and peace,
