In search of a subject to photograph, I ended up in the home workshop, with the homemade macro lenses, surrounded by old computers, a sound plant and various work tools.
En busca de un tema para fotografiar, terminé en el taller de la casa, con los lentes macros caseros, rodeado de computadoras viejas, una planta de sonido y varias herramientas de trabajo.
The idea was to capture these everyday objects with a more closed perspective, with the intention that the image would convey something to the viewer.
La idea era capturar estos objetos de uso cotidiano con una perspectiva más cerrada, con la intención de que la imagen lograra transmitir algo al espectador.
It's not the first time I've ended up here, trying to capture those kinds of images. However, the results are usually disappointing. I once spent several hours, in the dust, pulling out computer motherboards, power supply logic boards and going through screw cases, with the phone ready to shoot. I wanted to capture those mini cities that form the electronic components, but I couldn't manage it.
No es la primera vez que termino aquí, intentando capturar ese tipo de imágenes. Sin embargo, los resultados suelen ser decepcionantes. Una vez pasé varias horas, entre el polvo, sacando tarjetas madres de computadoras, tarjetas lógicas de fuentes de poder y revisando las cajas de los tornillos, con el teléfono listo para disparar. Quería capturar esas mini ciudades que forman los componentes electrónicos, pero no pude lograrlo.
On this occasion, I photographed the objects without manipulating them. I concentrated mainly on those with a metallic surface, thinking how they would look in black and white. After several attempts, I got these images.
En esta ocasión, me dediqué a fotografiar los objetos sin manipularlos. Me concentré principalmente en los que tienen una superficie metálica, pensando cómo se verían en blanco y negro. Luego de varios intentos, conseguí estas imágenes.
