They are not ugly or gross looking but they are bugs or more like worms hanging out in my house. Do you know of these?
You can find out a little bit more about them here and be prepared just in case, especially if you live in a humid country.
The first time I got to know about these fellas is when my Dad told me he had found hundreds hanging off his bed frame. He had been finding them here and there and didn't think much of it until he had looked under his bed and got a scare.
They literally just hang off the ceiling or are plastered in corners on the wall. They don't move or at least I have never seen it. When I spot them, I just take a wet cloth, wipe and then rinse it off. They don't retaliate in any way.
They are not even ugly to look at. Leaf shaped, silvery in colour and still. Of course I have not seen hundreds of them in one spot. That might get me a little more worried. But I have seen an odd one here and a couple there every now and then.
Perhaps, they have always been around but just never noticed them until my Dad's episode. We got the bug exterminator to sort it out for him. But ever since then, I have seen them in my house too.
Now that I am decluttering, I see more of them hidden behind boxes and cupboards. I am clearing them all and hope that fewer things in my house means fewer of them if not none.
If you had encounters, would love to know what you did. Or anything at all that might come in handy to keep them at bay.
Hey, thank you for dropping in and hanging out. Truly appreciated.
Cheers,

That's a new one for me, too. We have a silverfish bugbut you refer to a different bug. I could use a few temporarily to clear out the basement cobwebs apparently! They would like the moisture, but not our cold come winter!
I called it a bug because it looks like it
When I googled I got the silverfish bug which runs around in books
But this is actually a worm
And the leaf thing is it's shell
But it does nothing and just hangs
You really want them? hahaha
I could send some over ;p
