One may think that technological improvement in the banking sector will automatically serve the needs of the loan industry. But the trend in banking technology has underserved the loans industry in all regions leaving some who need to upgrade their financial situation, still on the whims of traditional banks’ archaic methods. The trend in Financial Technology (fintech), or banking technologies, is the use of application programming interfaces (API) to make proprietary data available with consumer permission, and the use of AI for customer identification and authentication.
