Phill from GCHQ - page 55 - The severed heads

The severed heads - Page 55 of the cartoon about Phill from GCHQ - a free comic that I have been working on since September 2016.

Introduction to this weeks page

It has been a very busy week, so I have been working late night to finish the page in time. But here it is against all odds. While taking a necessary break from the series in January and February, I did read a lot of related things among other quite a lot about the people we call The Celts. Some of that research has been going into this page.

If you want to know more about the Celts' strange obsession with heads, you can read a bit about it here: HEAD: THE CELTIC HEAD CULT. There even is a bibliography at the bottom.

I also noticed that even though this started out as a macabre scene it actually has some of the hygge that page 24 also sported. I guess it is because two lonely persons have been rejoined, and even though they both see each other as adversaries, their friendship (maybe even kinship) might just be a larger force than both of them suspects.

The word, fud, is a less courteous and Scottish way of referring to the female genitalia. Can also be used about men but then it means something like; silly tit.

Loving the celtic details. This comic is educational as well as entertaining

When you have done a lot of research it is actually funny to use it. The hard thing is actually that you can only have a tiny fraction of all the interesting thing you discovered.

This is the first time I have seen this post and if you did all that comic work by yourself - it is simply amazing. Pg55 you say - even better.

Nice post ✌
