Hello everyone in the Hive Community, and especially the Ecency Community. Today I want to share an experience that I found fantastic and that I'm sure many of you will find useful, especially those who, like me, enjoy interacting with and supporting content on our beloved platform.
I recently discovered a way to maximize my impact on Hive using those Ecency points we accumulate without even realizing it. Yes, those same points you earn through your daily interactions on Ecency. I'm going to tell you how, with just 1500 points, I was able to delegate Hive Power to further support my favorite authors and quality content.
Like many of you, I've been active on Hive and Ecency, voting, commenting, and posting. I always saw my Ecency points balance in my wallet, but I didn't pay much attention to it. I thought they were just a counter of my activity. One day, exploring Ecency's options, I realized that these points have real value and can be redeemed for something very valuable on Hive, such as promoting your own post or that of your favorite author, gifting them to other users, and redeeming them to increase your Hive Power Delegate. For me, this was a great incentive.
I have a strong interest in supporting content creators, especially those with shorter, more valuable posts that sometimes go unnoticed. I needed more HP (Ecency Points) to make my votes have a greater impact, and Ecency Points were the perfect solution.
Step by Step: How to Request Your HP Delegation with Ecency Points
Eccount for Your Ecency Points: First things first. Keep interacting on Ecency as usual. Every vote, comment, reblog, and post earns you points. You can see your balance in your profile section on Ecency. I had 1500 points, which is a great starting point.
In addition, Ecency gives you the chance to claim free points daily in a roulette wheel, where you can win anywhere from 1 to 200 points every 24 hours.
Go to the Redemption Section: Once you have enough points (the minimum for a delegation is usually 1500 points for 213 HP for one week, but always check the current options), go to the "Boost" or "Promote" section in Ecency, or look for the "Redeem Points" option. "Rewards".

Select HP Delegation Option: Within the redemption options, look for "Delegate Hive Power" or "HP Delegation." You'll see different packages depending on the number of points you want to use and the delegation period. With my 1500 points, I was able to choose a delegation that suited my needs.
