You talked about not being a morning person and I felt the same all my life, but when I went to Australia and it was spring/summertime and I was certain it was gonna be sunny every morning, it really made me get up early, especially when I was close to a beach. I dunno, that's what it took for me, I'm sure there is something that would make you get up in the morning, you just have to find it :P
