I was about 15 when he released the Slim Shady LP album, I think the music itself had no real effect on me other than I've started wearing "rap wear". Music is art, there are no boundaries in what can the artist do with his or her work.
Eminem is not a bad influence compared to these days toxic rappers, so YES, I would let my kid listen to Em if that's what they want.
I would recommend music of Eminem, but not lyrics. 😁😁😁
I remember listening to him when I was a teenager, even I didnt understand all what he was saying. Now as I learned English and understand everything I would say 50% but he isnt that bad :D
