Good day am happy to be part of today thanksGiving Service as God has used his Servant to reach out us with is word that have to do with the "Protection of the inner mind"
With my own insight and understanding as regards to the teaching with some of the scriptures used I will, I was able to extract some many morals from the teaching.
With regards to the "Protection of the inner mind" exploring John 4:34 this verse gave a highlight and sight the importance of maintaining alignment with God and as well fulfilling all he has said to us through practicing it and implementing it our life, by so doing we are protecting the inner mind that God gave us to guild us on our daily activities, so the act of implementing this is as well done by prioritizing towards the word of God and as the same time keeping up his divine plan with God which is the part way to follow in life.
Therefore for us to keep up to this, we are to practice what 1 Timothy 4:6-8 said as we are expected to train ourselves on Godliness and along side with discipline, which has to be less of physically and as well more of spiritually at most, so the act of protecting the inner mind has to do with practice and having a deep spiritual connection with the commandments and instructions of God, That's to tell you, to secure the inner mind we need to be more spiritual than that of the physical.
Jesus Christ was able to set and remarkable example as regards to this topic thought, where Jesus in Philippians 2:8 showcase what humanity and obedient is all about where he was able to accept to be transformed to human body in order to die for our sons at the cross of Calvary, this is a typical example to emulate from even at the point of death he still remain steadfast because of he is in alignment with his inner mind, he died for us not for himself that shows selflessness where his priority was to satisfy us above himself that's to show the moment of protecting and as well keeping and working with the inner mind.
Our biblical brother Apostles Paul dropped a remark on the Romans 7:22which reflect on the ability to overcome the struggle man encounters in his or her inner mind, so he said for us to overcome such struggle in order to protect the inner mind we are mainly to recognize temptation of the mind which breaks the chain of spiritual growth, by doing so we are mainly to protect the inner mind.
So brethren it what to practice what Ephesians 6:6 said as regards to working and keeping sincerity in whatsoever we are doing, by doing so we are building the integrity in doing God's service, so it is important we chase after spiritual things that have value in order to protect the inner mind rather than looking for the earthly rewards that do not have spiritual value.
So is high time for every believer to lead and live as an example and live a life that what emulation by so doing defines the book of 1 Corithians 4:16, that reflects in protecting the inner mind, we are main to have a genuine repentance as it happens in Luke 23:40-43 Believing in the faith and death of Christ shows the act of protecting the inner mind which involves forgiveness and as well receiving salvation of Christ.
With respect to the protecting the inner mind was explained well with various insight that concentrate on the importance of being with God at all time, with the ability to be training, cultivating and as well maintaining the trust we all have with the God almighty in time of adversity, the act of protecting the inner mind has to do with keeping a good spiritual relationship with God by obeying Him as well keeping his commandments, so therefore by keeping all this alignment with God keep us waxing in his grace and as well in our spiritual growth.
