Thank God for a successful thanksgiving service, today was the last day, the third day of the program. Today was a good day of which we were blessed with God's word by Brother Daniel who taught on the caption " Showing Mercy" it was actually an interesting one to learn from.
So with Luke 16:19-32 I was able to capture facts that whot to be emulated, as it was actually between a rich man and Lazarus, the poor man who doesn't has anything to boost of, the series of the verse of this scripture was actually trying to teach us the benefits and why is so important to show mercy to the less privileged ones, so having compassion for one another is a welcomed approach most especially to those in a terrible condition, so is a clear and understandable message which entails us no matter any level you found yourself you shouldn't use it against your follow man because you don't know what the future holds for anyone. and mind you whatever you do today has either consequences or rewards awaiting for it.
Even the book of James 2:13 made it clear that merciless judgment is main for those who claim to override their follow being without mercy, is just more of the spherical world where what comes around still goes around, so this verse made it clear for everyone to take caution of whatever he or she is doing today and tomorrow.
All this rules and guideline is made by the almighty God as it is written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 where it was shown that the word from scripture was actually an inspiration from God that's to say he made it easy for everyone who understands what is written in the Bible, so as believers we are, doing and following what the Bible has for us helps us to do good by showing kindness with a merciful heart, so is necessary to extend our merciful approach beyond our reach.
Even for those who has not key into this, there is enough time as Apostles Paul has stated it in Galatians 6:10 where he said that believers still has the opportunity to emulate this by showing mercy to those you are really in need of it, the act of being kind, showing mercy to one another defines who we are as a believers, I learnt that be generous showing mercy to people creates a remark that show a person's personality.
So therefore the reflection of our inner mind quality has to radiate out in whatsoever we are doing as the Matthew 25:41-45, has verse has shown the necessity to show love and mercy to those who are in need of it, because when you neglect to the do the needful as required it means that you are neglecting the desire of Christ our savior, so therefore obeying and showing mercy shows the extent of how you love God and the extent of relationship we keep with doing what the bible inspired by God has for everyone.
In 1 John 3:17 was actually a question for everyone to answer and choose the part to follow as it emphasizes on you having a merciful heart by doing the needful or not, I will stop here as the ball is in every one's court to play it or not, the message conveyed by the bible is clear, is good time to play it.
Collectively all this was till hammering on the need to do good in whatsoever we are doing or where ever place we found ourselves, because with the mercy we show to men defines who we are in Christ Jesus, so therefore I learnt to show mercy to everyone and urge everyone as well do be kind, and show mercy to those in needs of it.
