This is a legume plant, from Mexico, in its possession has more than 10,000 varieties. This plant is highly appreciated because it has a high nutritional value and many health properties.

The bean is a crop that has two forms of growth depending on its type of growth: kills and guides. The bush bean forms a shrub that can measure between approximately 30-40cm in height. The guide bean develops stems that measure long of 80cm, these thrive in the soils preferably.

This legume grows in green pods, which have 4-6 seeds in each one. Bean seeds are change in size and color according to type and have a half moon shape.

This crop can grow more quickly when the sun gives it directly or a little shade in very hot places. They can be grown in large pots or containers that have a minimum depth of 30cm so that their roots grow better.

To plant the bean, the soil should be prepared, adding a layer of compost, in order to provide them with necessary nutrients so that they can develop more easily. The distance between sowing should be approximately 15cm and the depth is three times the size of the seed , these plants are easy to grow and of little care, and from the week they will germinate, it is preferable that they are in humid soils, the cultivation of this legume, in itself contributes livelihoods to the soil where they grow, leaving it ready for future plantings since it contributes to the soil with nitrogen and a significant amount of nutrients. The beans bear fruits of approximately 90 to 150 days.

It is important to protect the crop from some pests that make plants vulnerable, the most common pests are beetles, slugs, cutworms and aphids, bean rust, powdery mildew.
