If I had a dime thrown into an empty well, for every time I wished for things and didn't get them, I wouldn't be wishing much because the dimes would add up to get those things for me.
The wishing well would be choked with dimes. The money changers would add me to their group immediately.
- Why did I keep wishing though?
Maybe it's because wishing was easier and it's still easier. Thoughts in my mind, daydreaming thoughts.
All that time spent hallucinating, playing in my head what it would be like to have my wildest imaginations become a reality.
Is it happening today? Some of them are. A very few of them are.
How did those few become my reality and why are the others not following suit? Was it my own doing or was it that I wished so much into the well that, the goddess of the universe found mercy upon my soul and decided, "She needed to have it?"
I have mediated, I have had an open mind, and the obvious is obvious. I didn't need to think too hard to know that it was not the wishing well, it was not my creativity in dreaming, but the few things things that came through, I took steps to get them done.
Did I not know this?
On the contrary, I did. I have known this all along, it's accepting the reality that was the big issue.
I'm not in this alone.
Someone out there is still stuck in trying to accept the reality that the wishing well will not grant you your wish. The goddess of the universe will not come through, even the goddess of good luck mostly meets those who are already taking action towards their goals.
People say it's easy to start but hard to maintain consistency.
I agree to some degree.
Starting out is exciting but not that exciting after you've fallen so many times already.
That's when it's no longer easy to start. The god of failure is the one that pushes the sons of men to make deals with the wishing well.
After a person fails so many times, the temptation to be stuck in Dreamland goes up. They end up with nothing but dreams of a possible tomorrow, reminiscing the good old days.
You can't blame them, you can only encourage them to pick themselves up.
