Happy ending vs. inconclusive ending?
When I watch a movie or read a book, I don’t necessarily expect a happy ending to feel satisfied about the movie/book. But Some of my friends don’t have the same feeling if the movie/book has no happy ending.
So my question is:
Do you prefer a logical inconclusive ending or a not very logical happy ending?
I wonder what the majority will vote for :))
- Logical inconclusive ending
- Not logical happy ending

... but a real ending, not a cliffhanger to sell the next book.

I think my satisfaction depends more on the execution of the storytelling than the type of ending, really.
