Should dpoll get an option to filter categories?

So as many of you surely noticed dpoll is getting a lot more polls in different languages, sports polls, crypto polls and many more. This is undoubtedly really good for the platform but the more polls get added, the less people will be able to vote on every single one.

I want to see if there are people out there that would like to see a feature to sort polls by languages, by most popular, by category and more. This would ensure that people who for example don't like sports don't see sports polls in their "poll feed".

Add your opinions below. I will respond to every response which has the additional comments field filled out.

  • I would like to see a poll scoring system (an option to vote for polls and make them "popular")

  • I have another idea on how to make the site better

  • We should not change these things because it might have a bad impact

I like the idea of filters, but I want to be able to look in each one easily. If I can daily click on

  • general
  • contest
  • sports
  • crypto
  • languages (set up as they are needed)

And get a list of just those. But I want to start on a page like we have new - not permanently stop a category from showing.

Each language would be a category. not a separate place for that. So a crypto contest in German would be in three categories set up by the author.

Great idea :)

Yes I totally agree! There should be a way to sort by popular and new but exclude things you don't like

We don't get much polls around here and it's okay as it is. Filtering will make it easy for people to sneak their way and only vote on giveaway polls leaving all others with little or no votes.

I understand that. It would make it incredibly easy only to vote on giveaway polls. I, however, think that it is easy either way. I was just being future-oriented and thought about times when polls are going to be in much higher numbers.

Till we have the numbers then . . .

What's the idea?

I think dPoll should have some external poll type everyone can use. Only with one click. Not only people with Steem account.

Or we could have a quick way of registering on steem. Not just through steem ninja...

I think it's great how it is. In my opinion you don't have to change anything
