Sí, soy yo, llegando tarde a las tendencias nuevamente. El maquillaje con temática de mariposa llegó hace bastante tiempo, muchas personas lo hacían y lo siguen haciendo. Pero la verdad es que yo no hice ninguno, lo más cercano que hice a esto fue la Mariposa Dark que les traje a modo de video tutorial hace ya bastante tiempo. Les confieso que me daba un poco de miedo hacer este maquillaje, ya que requiere un pulso bastante bueno y el mío no lo es para nada.

Yes, that's me, being late to the trends again. Butterfly themed makeup came quite some time ago, many people did it and still do it. But the truth is that I didn't do any, the closest thing I did to this was the Dark Butterfly that I brought you as a video tutorial quite some time ago. I confess that I was a little scared to do this makeup, since it requires a pretty good pulse and mine is not at all.

Esta técnica consiste en aplicar cualquier color, o varios colores, de sombras en el párpado sin difuminar, pero manteniendo una forma ovalada. Luego hacer las líneas de las alas de una mariposa y también hacer algo similar en la parte de abajo. Normalmente estas líneas van acompañadas de puntos blancos, como no poseo algún producto para hacer esto pues simplemente lo salté.

This technique consists of applying any color, or several colors, of shadows on the eyelid without blurring, but keeping an oval shape. Then make the lines of the wings of a butterfly and also do something similar on the bottom. Normally these lines are accompanied by white dots, as I don't own any product to do this as I just skipped it.

Después de hacer mis cejas y de preparar mi párpado con un corrector claro procedí a aplicaré las sombras. Utilice una combinación de tonos muy cálidos, empezando por colocar amarillo en el lagrimal, luego naranja en el centro y por ultimo rojo, de una vez marcando la forma. Luego utilice el delineador liquido para hacer la forma del ala de la mariposa.

After doing my eyebrows and prepping my eyelid with a light concealer I proceeded to apply the shadows. I used a combination of very warm tones, starting by placing yellow on the tear trough, then orange in the center and finally red, all at once marking the shape. Then I used liquid eyeliner to make the shape of the butterfly wing.

Pase a hacer mi piel, en esta ocasión estuve utilizando las técnicas normales de siempre. Aplicando primero una prebase para minimizar poros, luego aplique base de maquillaje en el centro de mi rostro y luego difuminándola hacia afuera. Luego estuve utilizando corrector para neutralizar ojeras e iluminar la zona, saltándome el contorno. Por ultimo selle todos los productos en crema con polvo suelto.

I moved on to do my skin, this time I was using the normal techniques as usual. I first applied a primer to minimize pores, then applied foundation in the center of my face and then blended it outwards. I then used concealer to neutralize dark circles and brighten the area, skipping contouring. Lastly I sealed all the cream products with loose powder.

Pase luego a hacer los contornos de mi rostro con mis productos en polvo, luego aplique bronceador utilizando la misma brocha pero con otro producto. Pase a llevar rubor en mis mejillas y aplicar iluminador en los puntos altos de mi rostro. Finalizo la parte inferior de mi ojo, concentrando sombra roja en la esquina exterior y sacándola hacia abajo, llevando un poco de amarillo y naranja pegados a la línea de las pestañas. Coloco pestañas postizas y un labial para complementar.

I then went on to contour my face with my powder products, then applied bronzer using the same brush but with a different product. I then applied blush on my cheeks and highlighter on the high points of my face. I finish the lower part of my eye, concentrating red shadow on the outer corner and pulling it down, bringing a bit of yellow and orange stuck to the lash line. I apply false lashes and a red lipstick to complement.

Creo que lo más difícil de este maquillaje fue hacer las líneas con delineador liquido, dejando de lado mi mal pulso, el delineador liquido no tiene una punta muy firme y tiende a moverse, ya que en realidad es un pincel. Aún así no me disgusta el resultado final, de hecho me gusta bastante y espero poder recrear este maquillaje con otros colores para hacerlo mucho mejor que ahora. I think the most difficult part of this makeup was to make the lines with liquid eyeliner, leaving aside my bad pulse, the liquid eyeliner doesn't have a very firm tip and tends to move, since it's actually a brush. Still I don't dislike the final result, in fact I like it a lot and I hope I can recreate this makeup with other colors to make it much better than now. I hope you liked it, see you soon!
