¿Cada cuanto tiempo limpias tus brochas? ¡Esto es muy importante! Tanto si te dedicas al mundo del maquillaje o si te sueles maquillar ocasionalmente. Y es que no solo la técnica lo es todo, también mantener las herramientas con una buena higiene es esencial para que el acabado del maquillaje se vea pulido.
How often do you clean your brushes? This is very important! Whether you are a make-up artist or an occasional make-up artist. Not only is technique everything, but keeping your tools clean is essential for a polished makeup finish.
Imagínate si no lavas tus brochas y te vas a hacer un maquillaje para una ocasión especial. Esa brocha que estas utilizando no solo estará sucia y llena de otro pigmento, si no de bacterias! Recuerden que la piel es el órgano más grande de nuestro cuerpo

Esto esta comprobado por dermatólogos. Las brochas tocan nuestro rostro directamente, si no le hacemos una limpieza adecuada y frecuente, entonces nos veremos perjudicadas por ello, no solo por la aparición de una o dos espinillas, si las bacterias duran mucho tiempo en las brochas puede ocasionar hongos . Y va más allá del acabado final, también en la salud de nuestra piel.
This is proven by dermatologists. The brushes touch our face directly, if we do not do a proper and frequent cleaning, then we will be harmed by it, not only by the appearance of one or two pimples, if the bacteria last a long time in the brushes can cause fungi. And it goes beyond the final finish, also in the health of our skin.
Hoy comparto con todos ustedes mi rutina de limpieza de brochas y la frecuencia con que la hago.
Today I share with all of you my brush cleaning routine and the frequency with which I do it.
Aquí les muestro la cantidad de brochas que tengo, y se nota lo mucho que los uso. Yo suelo maquillarme casi a diario, por motivos de practica y porque de las cosas que más me gusta hacer.
Entonces, al maquillarme casi diario debo lavar mis brochas semanalmente o incluso antes depende de lo llenas de pigmento que estén. Es lo más recomendable, después de la semana, incluso sin mucho uso, pueden acumular bacterias.
Here I show you how many brushes I have, and you can see how much I use them. I use make-up almost daily, for practical reasons and because of the things I like to do most.
So, when I do my make-up almost every day, I have to wash my brushes weekly or even before, depending on how full of pigment they are. It is the most advisable thing, after the week, even without much use, they can accumulate bacteria.
Lo primero que hago es ubicar dos frascos. Llenarlos de agua y un poco de jabón para bebes.
El motivo por el que aplico poca agua es que esta no debe tapar la parte de metal de la brocha. Puesto que si eso sucede, la brocha puede perder parte de la pega y soltarse del mango.
- The first thing I do is place two bottles. Fill them with water and some baby soap.
- The reason I apply little water is that it should not cover the metal part of the brush. If that happens, the brush may lose some of the glue and come loose from the handle.
Una vez ese paso esta listo, procedo a sumergir todas las brochas en los dos frascos. Mientras las dejo reposar unos 20 minutos.
Las brochas de doble lado, como las que muestro en la foto, las suelo sumergir 10min por un lado y 10min por el otro.
- Once that step is done, I proceed to dip all the brushes into the two bottles. While I let them rest for about 20 minutes.
- The double-sided brushes, like the ones I show in the picture, I dip them 10min on one side and 10min on the other.
Pasados los 20 minutos de remojo entonces empiezo a lavar las brochas en pequeños grupos, tratando de que sean de la misma forma para ahorrar tiempo.
Las froto suavemente con el jabón, con la palma de mi mano y finalmente las paso con agua.
Así con cada una de las brochas y pinceles hasta terminar. También les doy forma con mi mano.
- After the 20 minutes of soaking I start washing the brushes in small groups, trying to make them the same way to save time.
- I rub them gently with the soap, with the palm of my hand and finally I pass them with water.
- This way with each of the brushes and paintbrushes until I finish. I also shape them with my hand.
Al terminar de limpiar cada una de mis brochas las dejo sobre una toalla un rato para quitarles el exceso de agua y les devuelvo su forma natural con mi mano.
Si la brocha se llega a enredar, se paso un peine de cejas, si no, no es necesario. Al final las coloco en una superficie plana dejando la parte de las cerdas al aire.
Es una manera de que se sequen más rápido y no les quede humedad, debido a que las brochas tienen una forma un poco circular, donde le entra aire por todos sus lados.
- When I finish cleaning each one of my brushes I leave them on a towel for a while to remove the excess water and I give them back their natural shape with my hand.
- If the brush gets tangled, I pass a comb through it, otherwise it is not necessary. At the end I place them on a flat surface leaving the bristle part in the air.
- This is a way to make them dry faster and not to leave any moisture behind, because the brushes have a slightly circular shape, where air enters from all sides.
Limpiar las brochas adecuadamente es fundamental para mantener el cuidado de nuestra piel. De lo contrario siempre estará llena de acné e infecciones, lo cual no es nada sano. Este proceso puede variar dependiendo el gusto de cada quien al momento de lavar las brochas, esto solo es mi manera de hacerlo!
Cleaning the brushes properly is fundamental to maintaining the care of our skin. Otherwise it will always be full of acne and infections, which is not healthy. This process can vary depending on the taste of each person at the time of washing the brushes, this is just my way of doing it!

Muy buena observación no sumergir las brochas por completo, a veces por no tener tiempo nos olvidamos de no hacerlo y luego sufrimos las consecuencias, muy bien maquetado tu post. Excelente tu contenido dedicado a la belleza y cuidado de la piel.
