Esta semana en el Makeup Challenge de la Comunidad Makeup Power tenemos por Tema la Galaxia, un conjunto de extraños colores de los cuales nos vamos a inspirar para hacer nuestros maquillajes. Este es un buen tema para hacer un maquillaje artístico, trabajar con bodypaint e incluso se puede hacer algo más editorial ya que el concepto es muy versátil.

This week in the Makeup Challenge of the Makeup Power Community we have as our theme the Galaxy, a set of strange colors from which we will be inspired to make our makeup.This is a good theme to make an artistic makeup, work with bodypaint and even you can do something more editorial as the concept is very versatile.

En mi caso estuve haciendo un maquillaje artístico, el cual estuvo enfocado en una parte de mi rostro y en el cuello-escote para un acabado más dramático. Este maquillaje tuvo un enfoque fuerte en al edición, puesto que quería probar cosas nuevas para variar un poco en el contenido. No todos los maquillajes los edito, pero este fue la excepción.

In my case I was doing an artistic makeup, which was focused on a part of my face and the neck-side for a more dramatic finish. This makeup had a strong focus on editing, since I wanted to try new things to vary a little in the content. I don't edit every makeup, but this was the exception.

Como es costumbre empiezo por los ojos después de hacer mis cejas, en esta oportunidad estuve haciendo mi piel antes de todo. Aplique mi primer hidratante y luego comencé con la base de maquillaje, enfocándome principalmente de la zona de las ojeras hacia abajo. Luego el corrector, seguidamente el polvo para sellar todos los productos en crema.

As usual I start with the eyes after doing my eyebrows, this time I was doing my skin before everything.I applied my first moisturizer and then I started with the foundation, focusing mainly on the under-eye area. Then the concealer, then the powder to seal all the cream products.

Como iba a aplicar sombras en mi frente, procedí a tapar mis cejas utilizando la técnica del jabón, presionando este producto por toda mis cejas para poder taparlas luego con corrector y aplicar un poco de polvo compacto. Luego estuve trazando las lineas hasta donde iba a terminar la galaxia en mi rostro con un lápiz negro.

Since I was going to apply shadows on my forehead, I proceeded to cover my eyebrows using the soap technique, pressing this product all over my eyebrows so I could cover them later with concealer and apply some compact powder. Then I was tracing the lines to where the galaxy was going to end on my face with a black pencil.

Seguidamente estuve aplicando sombras en esa zona ya marcada, empezando con una sombra negra, luego una sombra rosada la cual estuve intensificando con una Fucsia. También un poco de azul, el cual estuve difuminando con un poco de morado.

Then I was applying shadows in that already marked area, starting with a black shadow, then a pink shadow which I was intensifying with a Fuchsia.Also a bit of blue, which I was blurring with a bit of purple.

Después de tener la intensidad deseada, procedí a hacer lo mismo en mi cuello y escote, pero en esta oportunidad sin trazar ninguna línea guía. Realice el mismo proceso de aplicar sombras, negras, azules, moradas, fucsias y rosadas de forma irregular y difuminando un poco entre ellas.

After having the desired intensity, I proceeded to do the same on my neck and neckline, but this time without drawing any guide lines. Perform the same process of applying shadows, black, blue, purple, fuchsia and pink irregularly and blurring a little between them.

Como detalles finales estuve haciendo un "delineado" con una pintura blanca satinada, este delineado lo hice solo con puntos, sin trazar ninguna linea guía. Con la misma pintura estuve aplicando puntos dispersos por todo mi cuello, escote y un poco en el rostro. Después me enfoque en los labios, usando una sombra negra y una morada, aplicando un gloss y los mismos puntos blancos. Finalmente aplique pestañas postizas.

As final details I was doing a "delineation" with a white satin paint, this delineation I did only with points, without drawing any guide line. With the same paint I was applying dots scattered throughout my neck, neckline and a little on the face. Then I focused on the lips, using a black and purple shadow, applying a gloss and the same white dots. Finally I applied false lashes.

Y así termina mi maquillaje de hoy para el Makeup Challenge, la edición como pueden ver tuvo una parte fundamental de este look, de esta manera lo siento más como una galaxia.
